Question by doe: Can you treat a yeast infection whilst on antibiotics?
I was prescribes antibiotics for a sore throat, and now I believe I'm acquiring a yeast infection. I know that antibiotics can destroy natural bacteria in your vagina that would normally stop these infections, but I was questioning if you could treat for the YI even though on antibiotics? Or would it not do anything at all? Is it much better to wait after I finish taking the prescribed antibiotics because I'm supposed to be
